Reading: Acts 14:17, Romans 8:16-18

In his message to the people of Lystra, Paul pointed out that God had always been present, showing His goodness and faithfulness in celebration and in suffering. The Christian life isn't exempt from hardship; in fact, Paul teaches that suffering is a necessary part of our journey with Christ. As we identify with Jesus in His death and resurrection, we can expect to experience both struggle and victory.

Reflect on a current challenge in your life. How might viewing it through the lens of being united with Christ change your perspective?

Ask God for the strength to endure, knowing that present sufferings are producing in you an eternal weight of glory. Remember that in every trial, you are never alone - Christ is with you, working all things for your good and His glory.
