This Week at Northbrook: April 11, 2025
If Jesus told you He was coming back one year from today, how would that change how you live today? That’s exactly the tension we’re stepping into this Sunday in 1 Peter 4:1–11, where Peter says plainly: “The end of all things is near.”
This isn’t a scare tactic—it’s a spiritual wake-up call. Peter’s not telling us to fear—he’s calling us to focus. To live like people who believe Jesus really is coming back. That means embracing the cross daily, enduring opposition with grit, praying like it matters, loving people relentlessly, and actually using your life and your gifts to serve others.
No more drifting. No more excuses. If you’ve been distracted, discouraged, or spiritually asleep—this is your chance to re-center. Let God reset your priorities, deepen your love, and fire up your faith. Don't you want that?
Ask yourself: If I truly believed the end was near… what would I change today?
Let’s get ready—together. Can’t wait to worship with you.
