As the Ephesian believers walked in holiness and love for Christ, their witness prevailed in their city. The gospel spread and triumphed, not through clever arguments or forceful persuasion, but through the undeniable power of transformed lives. Today, consider your own witness in your community. How brightly is your light shining? Are there areas of compromise that might be dimming your effectiveness? Ask God to show you any "idols" that need to be thrown into the fire, just as the Ephesians burned their magic books. Pray for a renewed passion for Christ that will make your witness compelling and attractive to those around you. Remember, our greatest evangelistic tool is a life fully surrendered to and in love with Jesus.
